🫡 Our mission

Storio Energy installs and operates Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS) for large electricity consumers in France. We’re pioneering the behind-the-meter energy storage segment in France.

Our vision is to enable a world entirely powered by low-carbon energy at an affordable price. The batteries we deploy have a key role to play in the energy transition :

• They improve the integration of renewable energy and reduce our dependency to fossil fuels by storing electricity when is it abundant to make it available when it is scarce.
• They increase the competitivity and resiliency of our clients, by enabling up to 20% savings on their electricity costs, and protecting them from increasingly volatile prices.
• They stabilize and reduce the congestion on the electric grid.

Our ambition is to enable the fast and massive deployment of distributed energy storage projects and become the leading developer and operator of behind-the-meter BESS in France and in Europe.

🤝 Our team

We’re a team of passionate engineers and repeat entrepreneurs who decided to get together to wok on something that matters. Our team members have deep expertise in the energy storage industry from past experiences at EDF Renouvelables, Tesla, NW Group and Agregio Solutions. We’re backed by leading VCs (Lowercarbon Capital and Bpifrance) and seasoned business angels from the energy industry, such as the CEOs of Greenly, Electra, Bump, Elum Energy and Enspired.

👷‍♀️ What we’re building

Storio Energy installs and operates BESS on industrial sites in France. We offer a turnkey solution and make energy storage seamless for our clients:

• Project development and installation: from the initial economic and technical feasibility studies, to the procurement of batteries from our manufacturing partners, down to the construction and installation work on the site
• Real-time control of batteries: Our software controls and optimizes in real-time the operations of our entire battery portfolio, maximizing both the local savings for the business on-site and the revenues from the grid.
